The Nightmare Train
The Little Engine That Could
“As long as the real boy is in Dreamland there’s no tunnel, and I’m the only train that can deliver dreams. My kind of dreams. Scary, creepy dreams.”
The Nightmare Train was eventually defeated when Richard and the toys pull a lever to switch the tracks, sending him barreling down the mountain at high speed. During the end credits, the Nightmare Train is shown at the bottom of a ravine, probably having jumped the tracks because of Little Engine and her trick.

Legend of the Sea
“What are you waiting for morons? Get me my dragon pearl!”
Draco, powered by the Dragon Pearl, transformed into a full-grown Dragon King and used his newfound power to once again banish Ocho from the Eastern Sea, sending her away and ending the war. Elsewhere, the three-armed octopus swears vengeance, but she is soon presumably devoured by a pack of predatory stonefish.
Nigel
Rio
"Hello, pretty bird. What's the matter? Cockatoo got your throat?”
Nigel darkly mocks the macaws, but an angered Blu manages to hook a fire extinguisher onto the cockatoo's foot and sets it off. Nigel is blasted out of the plane and manages to get the extinguisher off. However, a propeller flies at him, seemingly killing him and eventually causing the plane to fall. Blu finally learns how to fly, and escapes the crashing plane with Jewel. Marcel and the smugglers escape the plane as well. Sometime later, Nigel is revealed to have survived, but not without losing most of his feathers and getting humiliated by a "photo finish" by (presumably) Mauro as payback for his abuse against him and the other marmosets earlier.
Lord Shen
Kung Fu Panda 2
"Happiness... must be taken. And I will take mine.”
However, as they fight, Shen, in his blind fury, accidentally slashes through the ropes holding up the remains of his last cannon. Shen notices this too late as the heavy weapon topples over and falls towards him. While Po leaps to safety, Shen, seeing that he has finally lost, makes no attempt to get out of the way and instead accepts his fate and closes his eyes as he gets crushed to death by his own cannon and obliterated by the resulting explosion. Po narrowly escapes just as the ship blows up into splinters and sinks into the waters. Thus, the prophecy had become fulfilled.
Kent Mansley
The Iron Giant
"I'm Kent Mansley, I work for the Government.”
He suggests that they can duck and cover inside a fallout shelter, but the General furiously tells Kent that survival is impossible and that they are all going to die for their country. The cowardly Mansley refuses to take any regard for the town's fate and instead renounces his patriotism before attempting to escape from Rockwell in a stolen jeep. Fortunately, Kent is stopped by the Giant, who then allows Rogard's armed soldiers to hold Kent before the Giant had to sacrifice himself to the missile in order to save Rockwell. It is unknown what happened to Kent afterwards, but it is presumed that he was removed from his position permanently and incarcerated for his crimes and treachery.
Drago Bludvist
How to Train Your Dragon 2
"Dragon master? I, alone, control the dragons!”
Toothless, now with enhanced powers and immunity to the Bewilderbeast's control, challenges the latter for the position of the alpha dragon, repeatedly pummeling the Bewilderbeast with shots. This distracts the Bewilderbeast enough to free the other dragons from its control, and they unleash a massive volley of fireballs, forcing Drago to take cover, but not before several blasts knock off his prosthetic arm, exposing the stump where his real arm used to be. Toothless fires one last huge shot, taking off one of the Bewilderbeast's tusks. Drago and his Bewilderbeast are defeated, and the latter retreats into the ocean with Drago still on it. According to an early script for the third film, his Bewilderbeast abandons him on an island occupied by a wild dragon. His Bewilderbeast, on the other hand, goes to live in peace in the Hidden World, finally free from his control.
The Other Mother/The Beldam
Coraline
"You may come out when you learn to be a loving daughter!”
Coraline tried to shut the door on Beldam as the struggle ensues. With the assistance of the Ghost Children, Coraline manages to slam the door shut onto the Beldam's hand after she tries to grab her, severing it. Locking the door with the black button key, the Beldam realizes her own doom and screams horrendously at Coraline to not leave her and that she would die without Coraline as she tries to break down the door. Her powerful actions of attempting to break down the door cause the door and the passageway itself to be shaken and pushed forwards towards the real world, but Coraline locks the door from the side of the real world in time, which causes various furniture to be knocked down and the snow globe to break, freeing her parents.
